Role Description This is a full-time role for a Heating Air Conditioning Service Technician / Installer located in Monterey County, CA. The Technician/Installer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating and air conditioning systems. Good communication and troubleshooting skills an absolute must. Needs to have a problem-solving mindset and be able to follow instructions. Experience with sheet metal and ductwork a plus. Job Responsibilities: • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on HVAC systems including heat pumps. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with heating and cooling equipment. • Install and replace HVAC components as needed. • Maintain accurate service records and communicate findings with office and customers. • Ensure all work meets company and industry standards for safety and quality. Requirements: • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC technician and installer. • EPA certification required. • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, gas furnaces, heat pumps, controls, troubleshooting, local building code and repairs. • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals. • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills. • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
