Lead Sheet Metal Installer

Hello! We are hiring for Journeyman and Foreman Sheet Metal Installer! Job Description We are seeking experienced Journeymen or Foremen Sheet Metal Installers with 5-10 years of experience in commercial and industrial construction. As a motivated and self-starting professional, you will be responsible for installing sheet metal components with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities • Install hanging straps, round and rectangular ducting, uni-strut hangers, air-handlers, and ductless split systems. • Operate on ladders and scissor lifts as needed. • Possess and utilize sheet metal hand tools, cordless power drills, and other necessary equipment. • Perform tasks such as trash removal, cleanup, and material relocation as required by the foreman. • Install assemblies including flashing, pipes, tubes, and furnace casings within supportive frameworks. • Select appropriate gauges and types of sheet metal or other materials based on product specifications. • Drill and punch holes in metal for screws, bolts, and rivets. • Fabricate or alter parts on construction sites using shears, hammers, punches, and drills. • Trim, file, grind, deburr, buff, and smooth surfaces, seams, and joints of assembled parts using hand tools and portable power tools. Essential Skills • 5+ years of experience as a Journeyman or Foreman in sheet metal installation. • Experience in commercial and industrial construction. • Proficiency in installing rectangle, square, round, spiral, rigid, and flex duct work. • Ability to handle sheet metal tools and equipment. • Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces. • Valid Driver's License. Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Phoenix, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
