Positions for journeyman, and foreman caliber workers for both Sheet Metal Mechanics (installers & fabricators) along with Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning, and Refrigeration Service Technicians. This multi-disciplinary trade requires a broad range of skill sets. The ideal applicant may have and will need a wide range of general skills and knowledge or a specific specialty niche focus. Lead Technician Service Requirements • Previous 5-7 years Commercial HVAC Service Journeyman work experience 10-14K industry hours. • Journeyman Level MOA certification or Equivalent • OSHA 10 or 30 certification • First Aid & CPR certification • Previous 1-3 years leadership work experience • Advanced Knowledge of Commercial HVACR system types, general operating parameters, and troubleshooting practices. Example: Constant Volume, VAV Pressure dependent vs Pressure Independent systems, Forward Curve vs Reversed Incline, Analog vs Digital, Proportional vs Floating controls, building pressure operating design and associated controls, Minisplit A/C units, Scroll and Semi Hermitic Compressors, System Recovery, Evacuation and Charging. • Advanced understanding of Construction design and building practices. • Advanced understanding of Electrical and Controls Wiring Diagrams • Advanced understanding of Commercial HVAC Control types. • Electrical, Digital, and pneumatic building controls • Experience Identifying and sourcing replacement components from Vendors. • Experience writing detailed service work orders. • Advanced understanding and experience of Service Industry standards and procedures (tools and practices) • Continuing Education to stay current with Industry standards and procedures. • Experience planning and coordinating repairs and service logistics with customers and technicians. • Experience working with subcontractors and Vendors to perform complete services to customers. • Experience working with Equipment manufacturers technical support teams.
