Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Insulation Metal Mechanic to join our team. As an Insulation Metal Mechanic, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing sheet metal products in various industrial construction environments. Key Responsibilities • Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products using hand tools and precision measuring instruments. • Weld various metals using electric, gas, arc, etc., while ensuring accurate measurements and quality welds. • Inspect angles, gap allowances, and use precision measuring instruments to ensure correct fit and quality of welds. • Cut materials using tools to size, ensuring adequate fit and quality of welds. Requirements • Knowledge of various types of metal applications and strong math skills in relation to basic, algebra, and geometry. • Able to operate scissor & boom lifts safely and gather correct tools needed to perform applications. • Strong hand eye coordination allowing for tight fits where materials meet. • Able to complete layouts for assortment of applications such as elbows, 45's, 90's, gores, heads, T's, tanks, vessels, and cones. Position Overview The Insulation Metal Mechanic will be working mostly outdoors in industrial construction environments, performing a variety of tasks depending on the needs of the job scope. The Insulation Metal Mechanic will be expected to work with various metals to fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products. This involves tasks like measuring, cutting, bending, welding, and soldering metal sheets to create structures, components, or systems. Responsibilities and Duties • Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products. • Use hand tools safely. • Weld various metals using electric, gas, arc, etc. • Inspect angles, gap allowances, and use precision measuring instruments. • Use a grinder, hand file, or other tools to remove rough spots from work piece. • Cut materials using tools to size to ensure adequate fit and quality of welds. • Completion of various other duties as assigned. Training • Must provide proof of successful completion of OSHA 10 hour within 60 days of starting at hth companies. Estimator - Sheet Metal

PURPOSE Maintain and grow the “Customer for Life” concept for existing and new customers. Performs related work as required. Essential Functions And Responsibilities The following duties are typical for this job. These are not to be constructed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. • Thorough knowledge and understanding of sheet metal industry • Set-up and maintain estimating software including maintenance of database and system components Install/enter updates received via the Internet or from vendors for pricing and software • Develop common sheet metal systems for estimating software • Update estimating software, as needed, for unusual requirements of job specifications • Prepare all sheet metal project take-off for inclusion into estimating book using estimating software, including drawing take-off, review of job specifications incorporating all requirements into take-off, calculate and prepare all take-off reports, and distribute estimating reports to Project Managers • Communicate with Project Managers regarding take-off data, job requirements, and specifications • Meet project bid deadlines and schedules • Possess thorough understanding of SMACNA estimating manual • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of local market conditions including changes in material, equipment, and labor costs • Keep abreast of changes in industry technology and processes to determine impact on estimating methods • Assist Project Manager with change order estimates and cost analysis • Accurate daily time and equipment reporting Minimum Education & Experience Required To Perform Essential Functions • Experience with computer estimating systems Mental And Physical Competencies Required To Perform Essential Functions • Excellent communication skills • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel • Ability to read and understand job specifications, project drawings, sketches ENVIRONMENTAL ADAPTABILITY At any given time, may be exposed to: • Normal office conditions EQUIPMENT/TOOLS • Microsoft Excel • Microsoft Word • Microsoft Project • Bluebeam • REVIT • Quote Express • Fabrication ESTmep Baker Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
