About Us: We are an independently-owned Powerlift franchise located in Tipton, IA that fabricates and installs Powerlift Hydraulic Doors. We specialize in fabricating and installing Powerlift Doors to new and existing buildings/facilities. The doors are fabricated by cutting steel to size, welding the steel together following a blueprint, painting the door, and then transporting the door to the job site for installation. We have a small crew and are looking to add one member to the team. The position being hired for is a Welder/Fabricator Job Duties: • Prepare steel for welding. • Follow a blueprint to weld steel pieces together in the necessary arrangement for the door build. • Assist in door installation. Requirements: • Must have experience and proficiency with MIG welding. • Ability to weld in flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions. • Driver's license • Forklift experience is a plus but not required. • Telehandler experience a huge plus but not required. Who We Are Looking For: • Proficient welders that are looking to be a valued member of a small crew. • Individuals that enjoy indulging in different roles of the manufacturing and installation process and appreciate not having the same mundane tasks daily.
