Sheet Metal / Structures Modification Mechanic

$48/hour Full-time | Long Term Contract We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Structures Technician to support ISR modifications on RAPCON-X platforms, including U.S. Army HADES aircraft. This role involves advanced structural assembly, installation, and airframe repair on specialized aircraft systems. This position offers the opportunity to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance. Candidates selected for this role may be sponsored for a clearance, opening the door to long-term career opportunities within the Aerospace and Defense sector. Key Responsibilities: • Perform structural modifications and repairs per engineering drawings and manuals • Interpret and work from moderately complex technical schematics, blueprints, and publications • Install fasteners such as rivets and hi-locks while maintaining edge distance and pitch tolerances • Execute airframe refinishing and corrosion removal tasks • Use and maintain personal toolsets in good working condition • Support ISR modification projects on military and government aircraft Requirements: • High school diploma or GED and 3+ years of relevant experience • Valid driver’s license • Advanced knowledge of aircraft structural assembly and minor fitting techniques • Experience working from technical drawings to perform precision installations • Must have your own tools in good working condition • Eligible to work in the U.S. Preferred Qualifications: • Aerospace & Defense background (DoD, NASA, or U.S. Military experience) • Willingness to travel as needed Holidays Observed: • New Year’s Day • Presidents’ Day • Memorial Day • Independence Day • Labor Day • Veterans Day • Thanksgiving Day • Christmas Day Equal Opportunity Employer Statement: We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
