Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating press brake machines and possess a strong mechanical knowledge. This role is crucial for ensuring the precision and quality of metal fabrication processes, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations. Responsibilities • Operate and set up press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal according to specifications. • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine job requirements. • Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines to ensure optimal performance. • Collaborate with team members to fabricate components using various methods including laser cutting, plasma cutting, and electrical discharge machining. • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to specifications and standards. • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the production process. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications • Proven experience in machining, particularly with press brake machines. • Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes and techniques. • Knowledge of CNC operations is preferred. • Experience with milling machines and other fabrication equipment is a plus. • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand complex machinery. • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
