Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience with various machining processes. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and shape metal components according to specifications. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure that our products meet the highest standards. Duties • Set up and operate press brake machines for bending metal sheets and components. • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications. • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure accuracy in production. • Perform quality inspections on finished products to verify compliance with specifications. • Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed. • Collaborate with team members in the fabrication process, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols. • Operate additional machinery as required, including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, plasma cutters, and stamping presses. • Assist in assembly tasks and utilize hand tools for various manufacturing processes. Requirements • Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry. • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in machining, fabrication, and assembly processes. • Familiarity with CNC programming, CNC laser cutting, electrical discharge machining, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and tooling practices is preferred. • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks. • Experience operating forklifts, cranes, and other material handling equipment is advantageous. • Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus. • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
