Temp To Full-Time Description: The Press Brake Operator at our custom manufacturing company is responsible for operating press brakes to bend and form sheet metal as specified by blueprints, programs, layouts, and work instructions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: ? Set up and run complex bend and forming operations on Cincinnati and Amada Press Brakes. ? The ability to know which tooling combination to use in order to obtain the required dimensions on a sheet metal part. ? Keep equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions and guidelines and troubleshooting malfunctions. ? Use other manufacturing equipment and machines as needed, such as rolls, overhead cranes, Whitney, Pem Machine, and various hand tools. ? Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. ? Comply with relevant Quality and Safety programs (e.g. ISO-9001). Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: ? 1 or more years Press Brake Operator experience. ? Must read and understand blueprints and specifications to complete tasks independently. ? Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner according to company and OSHA guidelines. ? Able to lift up to 50 lbs. with frequent bending, stooping and twisting. ? Should be good with mathematics and be able to use a tape measure, rule and square. Pay is based on experience $17 to $19 Must pass a Drug Test
