Sheet Metal Foreman

About the position The Sheet Metal Foreman position at our established Mechanical company in Augusta, Georgia, is a critical role that combines leadership, technical expertise, and operational management within the HVAC Sheet Metal Fabrication Shop and field operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sheet metal production, with a focus on ductwork fabrication and assembly, ensuring that all work meets the stringent standards set by SMACNA. This position requires a proactive approach to overseeing the shop crew, managing production schedules, and coordinating with project managers and field supervisors to meet project demands effectively. In this role, the foreman will be responsible for planning and laying out ductwork, selecting appropriate materials based on project specifications, and ensuring that all fabrications are completed on time and to the highest quality standards. The foreman will also play a key role in inventory management, which includes tracking raw materials, creating purchase orders, and documenting expenditures to ensure that production needs are met without delays. Additionally, the foreman will be expected to operate delivery vehicles safely, load and unload products, and maintain shop equipment to ensure smooth operations. Requirements • 5-10 years of sheet metal production experience. , • Experience with welding (MIG and TIG) preferred. , • Proficient in CAD software. , • Valid driver's license with a clean record. , • Strong leadership skills to oversee shop crew. Industrial Control Electrician

INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIANS with a minimum 5 years experience needed. Must have knowledge of 24-volt controls, Kinetex Drives,120-volt controls,480-volt drive motors, installing conduit, wire basket, cable tray. Must know how to read and understand drawings, and cable pull schedules. Project will be 4 to 8 weeks, some weeks will be 4 days 10 hour days and at least 4 weeks will be 6 days 10 hour days.
