The role involves running and bending ductwork, working in crews typically ranging from 2 to 4 members, with larger projects requiring larger teams. The projects are located within approximately an hour's radius of the shop. Applicants must have at least 5 years of commercial HVAC experience and possess their own tools and reliable transportation. Responsibilities • Run and bend ductwork for commercial HVAC installations. • Work effectively within crews ranging from 2 to 4 members, expanding for larger projects. • Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams related to HVAC systems. • Install, inspect, and test HVAC systems in accordance with design specifications. • Demonstrate additional skills in controls or pipefitting as a plus. • Oversee and manage crews efficiently. Essential Skills • Minimum of 5 years of commercial HVAC experience. • Expertise in sheet metal fabrication, welding, and duct installation. • Ability to run a crew and work independently. • Proficiency in reading blueprints and layouts. • Experience with HVAC system controls and mechanical components. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Additional experience with controls or pipefitting is advantageous. • Experience overseeing and running crews. • HVAC Schooling is considered in lieu of experience. Work Environment The role is based in a new construction environment, working within teams of 2 to 8 members. Standard working hours are from 7am to 3:30pm, with additional hours as needed. Safety gear including steel-toed boots, jeans, T-shirts, hard hats, and safety glasses will be provided on the first day. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $35.00/hr.
