Direct Hire for 1st Shift for Industrial Plant in Seneca Falls, NY $26-31/hr pay based on skill. Let us introduce you to our client and they will take over from there. Overview: Description: Lay out, assemble, install, and/or maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, or related hydraulic or pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, or industrial production or processing systems. Responsibilities: • Cut, thread, or hammer pipes to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders, or pipe benders. Lay out full scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, or related equipment, according to blueprints. • Assemble or secure pipes, tubes, fittings, or related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, or threading joints. Inspect, examine, or test installed systems or pipe lines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods to detect leaks. Create installation diagrams. Technology Skills: Uses the appropriate electronic or manual system to perform the work of the job or department. May use computer systems to enroll in benefits and interact with other company data systems. Education: Equivalent to high school plus two or more years of related apprentice or trade training. Experience Required: 1+ years of experience in plumbing related field preferred. Journeyman status from a trade organization such as plumbers and steamfitters union preferred.
