Journeyman Plumber

In this role, you'll complete a variety of residential and commercial plumbing working alongside our HVAC and electrical divisions to serve our established base of customers. Duties • Perform residential and light commercial plumbing repairs, replacements, and new installs • Mentor and train plumbing apprentices as we grow the department • Collaborate with our service and install teams to deliver full-home comfort solutions • Ensure work meets Kentucky plumbing codes and company quality standards Qualifications • Valid driver's license. • Journeyman plumber license. • Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus but not required. • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. In this role, you'll learn the skills necessary to provide top-notch plumbing service, complete work under the supervision of a journeyman. Duties • Assist licensed plumbers with installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. • Learn to read blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing layouts and specifications. • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks. • Participate in pipe threading, assembly, and installation of fixtures and appliances. • Support field service operations by assisting with troubleshooting and repairs on-site. • Gain experience in welding techniques as needed for specific plumbing applications. • Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects and general maintenance tasks. • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites. Qualifications • Valid driver's license. • Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic math skills for measurements. • Previous mechanical experience (construction, maintenance, automotive, another licensed trade, ect.) preferred. • Basic knowledge of plumbing concepts and construction practices preferred. • Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus but not required. • Strong mechanical knowledge with a willingness to learn new skills. • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
