Mechanical Maintenance Engineer-Automotive Parts Manufacture

A global automotive parts manufacturing company in Bowling Green KY is looking for an Entry level Mechanical Maintenance Engineers. Responsibilities of Mechanical Maintenance Engineers · Ensures industrial equipment, systems, and machinery run reliably by planning preventative maintenance, · Develop testing processes, and perform testing and validation of new designs. · Analyze data from test results, provide suggestions, and implement solutions for improvements. · Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors · Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process · Ensure project timeline is met and project stays within budget · Other duties as assigned Qualifications of Mechanical Maintenance Engineers · Degree in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering required. · 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering preferred. · Experience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery. · Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. · Strong organization and management skills. Mechanical Maintenance Technician

The BILSTEIN facility in Bowling Green, KY is the company’s first United States manufacturing operation and serves the automotive industry, automotive supply industry, as well as, the saw and tooling industry with tailor-made steel grades. Position: Maintenance Multi-Craft Technician Duties & Responsibilities The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting all facility and auxiliary equipment. This includes electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems. Must hold a high standard for safety practices including LOTO procedures while conducting equipment repair and preventive maintenance. Must be team-oriented and contribute to a positive work environment, have strong communication skills, willing to broaden mechanical and electrical skillsets, and a strong desire to continually improve maintenance processes. Specific duties include: Safety/Environmental - Provide support in all accident investigations involving maintenance activities to establish root cause and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence - Ensure that housekeeping standards are maintained. Maintenance - Maintain production equipment including preventive, predictive, and repair work. - Troubleshoot all production equipment including supportive equipment (chillers, HVAC, emulsion, bag house) including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems. - Documentation of maintenance calls, completion of repair, PM, and PD work orders in CMMS system as well as end of shift reports, hot work permits, and confined space entry permits. - Support and provide continuous improvement ideas and root cause analysis procedures. - Read electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic circuit diagrams as well as mechanical drawings and layout plans for troubleshooting and in-house repair work. - Use of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word). - All other duties as assigned including but not limited to: operating forklifts, boom lifts, overhead cranes / hoists, and scissor lifts. Qualifications - High school or equivalent (Required) - Associate degree in Maintenance Technology (Preferred) - Mechanical knowledge: at least 1 year (Required) - Electrical knowledge: at least 1 year (Required) Night Shift, 6PM-6AM
