Heavy Highway Construction Laborer

WANTED: Construction Laborer / Carpenter The company’s core businesses are Traffic Signals, Street Lighting, Drilling Sidewalk, and curbing. Various jobs were sought involving fieldwork: including ground men, linemen, operators, and foremen. Qualifications/skills: Your main qualifications would be general construction/carpentry skills Must possess the ability to build and assemble things, run typical worksite machines, Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work in all types of weather. Must be able to communicate effectively with the crew and get along with others. OSHA 10-hour construction is a plus. If you do not have this certification, we will pay for the online training course before you begin work. Drivers license required, CDL a plus Experience working around drill rigs is a plus Construction management skills such as crew leader or foreman are a big plus. Knowledge of placement and rules for roadwork signs & cones for DOT’s also a plus. Travel will be required as some work sites are out of town. As a heavy highway contractor we are looking for Females and males that will be required to perform various physical tasks including but not limited to operate power tools, shoveling, lifting and carrying as necessary to complete the assigned task. This job is outdoors in all weather conditions. A success employee must be able to follow directions and support the entire crew as directed by the crew foreperson.
