Position Summary Green Mechanical Construction Inc. (GMCI) is seeking a skilled and dedicated Foreman to lead and oversee mechanical construction projects under the supervision of a Project Superintendent. This role requires an individual with strong leadership abilities and technical expertise to guide crews and ensure project success. Key Responsibilities: • Organize and manage trade activities on job sites under the guidance of a Superintendent or Project Manager. • Promote and enforce GMCI’s safety policies and procedures. • Interpret construction documents such as drawings, equipment schedules, and specifications. • Generate material takeoffs and manage site materials to maintain productivity. • Supervise and lead crews, subcontractors, and other project personnel. • Monitor field productivity and manage allocated labor hours effectively. • Coordinate equipment and material deliveries. • Participate in progress and coordination meetings. • Maintain required certifications or licenses applicable to the role. • Complete and submit accurate progress reports, documentation, and other required paperwork. • Perform additional tasks as needed to execute assignments effectively. Qualifications: Required: • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in commercial or industrial mechanical construction. • Possession of at least one of the following licenses or certifications: • Journeyman or Master Plumbing License • Journeyman or Master HVAC License • Limited Journeyman Duct HVAC License • Limited Journeyman Installer HVAC License • Medical Gas/Brazing Certification Preferred: • Prior experience supervising mechanical construction projects.
