Job Duties: Plans and carries out instructional activities and prepares learning materials for Computerized Manufacturing and Machining (CMM) and other technical programs. Provides instruction to students using both theory and hands on lab activities. Lab activities will include but are not limited to the following: conventional and CNC machining, electrical, or manufacturing. Keeps abreast of technical changes in the field and keeps program updated to comply with current industrial standards. Participates in professional development activities to improve teaching skills, and technical expertise in conventional and CNC machining and manufacturing will be required. Instructor will also be responsible for student advising, internal and external service and scheduling/participating in recruiting events. With other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree in related field from a regionally accredited college or university and two years of work experience in the CMM career field. Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree from a regionally accredited college or university and six years of related work experience in the conventional and CNC Machining, manufacturing or electrical field.
