Experience is preferred, but not required as we will train the right candidates. As a CNC Milling Machinist you will be responsible for setting up and operating 4 and 5 axis machinery and tools to produce precision parts and instruments. You will be expected to modify parts and materials to improve overall production; test equipment, and perform routine maintenance, to detect and prevent defective products; quality checking finished products; and shop related paperwork or assignments. Additionally, you may be responsible for reporting any environmental, health, or safety issues that arise; and aiding in the proposal and introduction of new machining techniques/machines to improve overall shop safety and productivity. Knowledge of GD&T, programming and G and M-Codes is preferred but not required. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary by the Company) • Works from blueprints, rough sketches, production diagrams, drawings and verbal instructions to fabricate a variety of complex machined components. • Fabricates and modifies tools and equipment. • Measures, examines, and tests completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications. • Cleans, lubricates, and maintains machines, tools, and equipment to remove grease, rust, stains, and foreign matter • Installs repaired parts into equipment and operate equipment to verify operational efficiency. • Assists other machinists when necessary. • Performs other duties as requested, directed or assigned Required Minimum Qualifications: • Education: Less than High School Education • 0-2 year's of related work experience • Ability to read and understand blueprints • Ability to interpret a variety of oral and written instructions • Ability to communicate across various levels of organization • Ability to work safely in a shop / warehouse environment Preferred Qualifications: • Education: High School Diploma/Equivalent • 2-4 year's of related work experience • Experience with CNC machines • Previous oilfield experience • Current relevant HSE training and certifications • Loader and Forklift certifications • Ability to perform general machine maintenance EOE/Minorities/Females/Veterans/Disabled.
