Job Description CNC Operator We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our fabrication team specializing in high-end countertops, stone, and marble surfaces. The CNC Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to cut, shape, and finish stone materials according to precise specifications. This role requires experience with stone fabrication machinery, attention to quality, and the ability to work from CAD files, templates, and shop drawings. Job Type: Full Time, On-site Responsibilities for the CNC Operator: Set up and operate CNC machinery to fabricate countertops, vanities, and custom stone pieces from granite, marble, quartz, and other solid surfaces. Interpret and execute cut files, blueprints, and technical drawings with a high level of precision. Inspect raw materials and finished products for quality, accuracy, and defects. Perform routine machine maintenance, tool changes, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal machine performance. Collaborate with designers, templators, and installers to ensure accurate fabrication and customer satisfaction. Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area. Requirements of the CNC Operator: • 2+ years of CNC operation experience in stone, marble, or solid surface fabrication preferred. • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (e.g., AlphaCAM, AutoCAD, or similar). • Strong understanding of stone properties and fabrication techniques. • Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team environment. • Knowledge of polishing, edging, and hand-finishing techniques is a plus.
