Pay Range: $56,000-$80,000 (Hourly + Bonus) Responsibilities: • Boilers – High efficiency, steam, and tankless systems. Maintain and replace major components. Set controls for commissioning (start-up). • Electrical – Follow schematics and advanced controls. Trace voltage through generators and inverters. Advanced thermostat settings and adjustments. Advanced generator diagnostics and repairs. • Airflow – Balance ducted systems to boost performance. Set zoning levels and evaluate ductwork. • Combustion – Ability to adjust individual inputs to effect output. Ability to measure and interpret venting. • Efficiency – Ability to offer and install comfort and efficiency add-ons. • Diagnostics – Locate and repair trouble calls from all units we service. Identify the root source of nuisance issues. • Maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment. • Identifying maintenance risks on equipment. • Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services. • Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently. • Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions. • Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with the Occupational Health and Safety Act. • Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirements. • Assisting with customers’ queries Requirements: • Minimum of 5 years of Residential HVAC experience (EPA & NATE Certification is a plus). • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Must have a valid Driver’s License, and possess and maintain a satisfactory driving record. • Must have and maintain hand tools of the trade. • Must be able to multitask and work independently as well as contribute to the overall success of the team. • Highly organized and detail-oriented with exceptional follow-through ability. • Highly motivated, self-starter who is flexible and has a positive attitude. • Basic computer skills are required. Service & Repair Mechanic-HVAC-R

Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm Service & Repair Mechanics (HVAC-R) are responsible for the operation, maintenance, repair and installation of heating, refrigeration, and air-conditioning equipment in a State facility. Incumbents, as specialists, are responsible for supervising and training other members of the operation and maintenance staff including skilled, semiskilled, and unskilled workers, in servicing and repairing heating, refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment. Performs required periodic maintenance and emergency repairs on heating, refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment. Installs new equipment both as replacement units and new installations. As assigned, supervises and trains Service & Repair Assistants (HVAC-R), Plant Utilities Assistants, and other trades positions in the repair and maintenance of refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment.
