This is an electrical apprenticeship role. You will be required to work with your hands daily. We are primarily a service company, so we work on a large variety of electrical systems and many days are at numerous job sites. The ideal candidate will want to develop as an individual in the electrical trade and will be willing to train for several years to become a journeyman electrician. At Clocktower Electric we take pride in developing professional and skilled electricians and attendance at the IEC electrical trade school is mandatory for employment. School is a four year commitment for one night a week. We are looking to hire someone ambitious that takes pride in their work, has a good attitude, and is truly looking for a career in the electrical trade. Job duties include -Climbing ladders and being comfortable with heights on Ariel lifts. -Working with live electricity. -Working in crawl spaces, attics, homes, construction sites, commercial offices and warehouses, and industrial facilities. -Use of hand tools, power tools, and occasionally heavy equipment. Mandatory requirements -reliable transportation -A GED or high school diploma -Attendance in online school one night a week with additional time spent on homework. This portion is non paid but the company pays for school. -Being on time and consistently showing up to work. -A positive attitude and easy to get along with.
