The Carpenter/Laborer will work on construction sites, collaborating with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. Responsibilities • Perform carpentry tasks including framing, installation of drywall, and flooring installation. • Fabricate and assemble wooden structures and fixtures according to specifications. • Assist in concrete forming for foundations and other structures. • Conduct construction painting as needed to finish projects. • Collaborate with team members to estimate materials and labor for upcoming projects. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment on the construction site. • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Main Responsibilities: • Cleaning and preparing the construction site and pavement surfaces. • Keep equipment and tools in good working condition. • Work in a team-oriented environment. • Perform other duties as assigned to assist the crew. • Must be able to understand specifications and instructions, both verbal and written. • Knowledge of and strict adherence to safety regulations. • Wear all proper personal protective equipment. • Travel within Southeast Alaska communities may be required. • Must be able to work overtime including Saturdays and Sundays.
